Angleton Park Watch encourages residents to act as the "eyes and ears" of the park. Angleton Parks & Recreation Department alongside Angleton Police Department are collaborating to host a Park Watch event. Swing by for a brief informational, food, and giveaways!

Movie in the Park Trolls

Movie in the Park featuring, Trolls World Tour

Take your movie experience outside for a viewing of Trolls World Tour on our baseball field. We encourage you to bring snacks and refreshments. No glass containers or alcohol allowed. Come prepared with your blankets and lawn chairs to relax. Spaces will be limited and we ask that you keep social distancing in mind. Parental discretion is advised.

Home Run Derby

Home Run Derby

Do you have what it takes to be a HR Derby winner like Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, or Sammy Sosa? Show us your best swing and see if you can hit it out of the ballpark. Those participating will be placed in divisions based on ages 7 – 8, 9 – 10, and 11 – 12; divisions for both boys and girls. Those who have the most homeruns will be the 2021 Home Run Derby Champion. Bring your own bats and gloves. Participants are welcome to help us shag in the outfield!

Glow in the Dark Pound

Channel your inner Rockstar by glowing in the dark with a fusion of music and movement. Using RIPSTIX (weighted drumsticks) you will drum, lunge, jump, and squat your way through a total body

Storywalk featuring "There's a Hole in the Log on the Bottom of the Lake" by Loren Long

Get interactive at Dickey Park with this activity that allows you to read a story as you walk the park trail. There will be activities set up for you to do throughout the trail. Register your visit with an onsite QR code, then visit the Angleton Recreation Center or the Angleton Branch of the Brazoria County Library System to get a cool prize.
