The City of Angleton Municipal Court has suspended ALL HEARINGS, ARRAIGNMENT DOCKETS, JURY, AND BENCH TRIALS until Thursday, May 14, 2020 in an effort to continue to encourage the health and safety of the public and court staff from the spread of the COVID-19.
Individuals may contact the court for a RESET to aide in our efforts of rescheduling these cases and receive other options on how to make arrangements.

Defendants who failed to appear for the pre-hearing docket on March 12th may contact the court for a reset.
Defendants scheduled for pre-hearing docket on April 23rd are being contacted with the option to reset for May 14th (may also contact the court).
Bench trials scheduled for April 16th are still on track.
Note: All court dockets, proceedings, and seating will be conducted using social distancing.

JURY DUTY CANCELED
Angleton Municipal Court is canceling jury duty for Thursday, March 19th, due to COVID-19 preventive actions. Residents that have received a jury summons for this date will not need to report for jury duty.
We will re-schedule these cases and summons at a later date.
