The Bates Park facilities include:
· 3 lighted youth softball fields
· 1 baseball field
· 1 soccer field
· a ¾ mile paved loop for biking and jogging
· 20 picnic tables
· a playground area
· a small pavilion
· a lighted basketball pavilion area.

Bates Park is the home of the Angleton Girls Softball Association, and utilizes the Park’s ball fields throughout the year. The pavilions can be rented for $25 a day plus a deposit for birthday parties or fundraisers. · A wooded ½ mile lighted walking path
· 3 barbecue pits
· Sand Volleyball court
· 2 horseshoe pits
· Butterfly garden
· 5 exercise stations along walking path
· 6 picnic tables
· 2 playground areas
· a small pavilion
· a large pavilion area.

Dickey Park is the newest park constructed by the City of Angleton and opened to the public in July 2006. The pavilions can be rented for $25 a day plus a deposit for parties or family reunions.
