Albert L. Carr a Private in the US Army, 29th Division during World War II from 1943-1945
was honored with a Proclamation, proclaiming the recognition of the 
65^th Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion on June 6, 2009.
Mr. Carr was part of the D-Day invasion force that landed on the beaches of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944
