Mary Kay Fischer has been the City Attorney for the City of Angleton since October, 2009. Ms. Fischer has 27 years of experience in Municipal Government which includes 18 years as legal counsel for the Cities of Galveston, Texarkana, Texas City, Killeen, Corpus Christi and Presiding Judge in Bryan and Nolanville and 9 years in the parks and recreation field in Baytown.
Ms. Fischer is an active member of the Texas City Attorneys Association and is a member of their Board of Directors.
She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from South Texas College of Law and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreational Administration from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University.
