Women's Self Defense Class

You may not be Dauntless, but every woman can learn skills to improve her self defense!  The Angleton Recreation Center is currently offering a Women's Self Defense class on Saturday, April 26th from 10:30-11:30AM.  Training scenarios will prepare participants physically and, most importantly, mentally for personal safety.  The training focuses on teaching awareness of surroundings, quick decisive action and simple but effective strikes to neutralize an attack!  This class is taught by Terese Pandalph Barton, who teaches American Tae Kwon Do and has been training in Martial Arts for 12 years.
The class is geared for women, but ages 13 and up may register, or ages 8-12 may register along with a female guardian.  The class fee is $20, but the skills are priceless!  Register in person at the Angleton Recreation Center; space is limited.
