Court Procedures & Protocol

The court docket is the cases that have been scheduled for court. The dockets are listed on the court docket link to the left of this section. Defendants will be expected to adhere to all procedures and protocol of the Municipal Court including proper attire. In the courtroom, all mobile devices must be turned off. No food or drinks are allowed in the courtroom at any time. Photography and audio recordings are prohibited. Complete details about conduct and protocol while in the court are detailed below.

Appropriate Attire

You are expected to act and dress properly and follow the rules of the court. Certain articles of clothing, such as shorts, tank tops, halter tops, caps/hats are not permitted. Please wear appropriate clothing when you appear in court. Failure to do so may result in you being held in contempt of court.

Court Room Security

Do not enter the courtroom with any knives or weapons. Also, purses, backpacks, etc. are not allowed in the courtroom. You may bring your checkbook, wallet, and any other pertinent paperwork (driver’s license, insurance card, vehicle registration, etc.) with you in the courtroom.
