COA - WALK WITH EASE

Walk with Ease

Angleton Parks & Recreation was chosen for an instructor training grant from the National Recreation and Park Association! The grant allows us to provide an evidence-based physical activity program to adults 50+!

Participants will meet for six weeks, three times per week. The length of each session depends on how long individuals would like to walk. At the start, some may only be able to walk 5 to 15 minutes, but the program will help participants gradually build up to at least 30 minutes of walking three times a week. The program can be modified to meet the interests and needs of participants, who walk at their own pace.

  • Facility: Angleton Recreation Center
  • Date: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, April 3 - May 12
  • Time: 11:00 AM -12:00 PM
  • Age: 55+
  • Fee: Free
  • Registration:  Register here or visit the Angleton Recreation Center.
