The application for this award was submitted by City Secretary Frances Aguilar, TRMC, CMC on behalf of the City of Angleton in December 2020. This is the second year of this TMCA award program, and the award designation is for a two-year period.
The Award of Excellence recognizes the statutory requirements and demands for the effective management of resources for proper governance by the City Secretary's Office. The award itself recognizes Municipal Clerk offices throughout the state for compliance with federal, state and local statutes that govern standards necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the office.
