National Foundation Hosts Virtual Fundraiser for Two Deserving Local Rescue Organizations
Jordan’s Way, a national nonprofit touring the US to support animal rescue organizations and shelters, has selected Twilight Tails and Angleton Animal Shelter as beneficiaries of its Greater Houston area online fundraiser Tuesday, July 20th from 10 AM – 2 PM. The virtual fundraiser on the Jordan’s Way Facebook page will include games, activities, contests, and of course, lots of pups ready to find their forever home. Kris Rotonda, the founder of Jordan’s Way, will be hosting Tuesday’s event at the Angleton Animal Shelter at 535 S. Anderson Rd. and those interested are encouraged to come by to see many of the local dogs available for adoption.
As a rescue dedicated to helping all dogs in need but with an emphasis on seniors and the most vulnerable dogs, Twilight Tails hopes that this event will generate funds in order to continue to save those most in need, whose medical costs can often be quite high- and who are more difficult to adopt out.
Angleton Animal shelter works diligently to avoid euthanizing animals and currently has 30 dogs in a facility designed for 20. Donations will help both organizations realize their goals of helping the Greater Houston areas’ homeless and senior dogs.
