The City of Angleton wants to remain transparent with our residents and visitors. We have a number of ways that help us stay in contact with each of you.
Emergency notifications: Code RED. Through this service, our Emergency Management Department is able to send out notifications through Code RED during emergencies to help you stay informed.

Learning your way around? Here's a map of Angleton! Angleton Tourism Map. You can visit our Visitor Center located at 121 S. Velasco St. (side entrance off of Orange Street) for a physical map of Angleton along with other local attractions within Brazoria County and the surrounding area.
The City of Angleton works to enrich the lives of the residents of Angleton through quality parks and open spaces, recreation programs, and services.
The Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains more than 200 acres of developed parkland spread over eight parks. These community parks include everything from playgrounds, disc golf, outdoor volleyball courts, horseshoes, rental pavilions, fitness trails, butterfly gardens, youth sports complexes, and the Angleton Recreation Center. We even like to make sure that our four-legged family members have a place to call their own at the Officer Cash Memorial Dog Park.
These leisure programs include the operation of the Angleton Recreation Center, educational and recreational programs, special events, supervised children's programs, trips and tours, and facility reservations. Angleton Parks and Recreation Department offers something for everyone.
The Utility Billing Department handles the metering and billing of water, trash, and sewer services within the City of Angleton.
The City of Angleton is making it easier for you to access up-to-date account information. New smart meters ensure accurate meter reads and will bring consistency to your utility bill. There are currently two portals to manage your water account, one for online payments and one for usage analytics, giving you insight into your water usage.

The mission of the Development Services Department is to create and maintain a healthy, safe community by enforcement of the adopted building codes and amendments, providing efficient customer service, and ensuring quality in the design, construction, and use of properties within the community. Projects involving development, platting, or plan review are required to have a designated project manager to conduct communication and project coordination with City staff.
